Who are we?

Bulgarian Doors and Windows Association /BDWA/ is established in 2004 and it’s a regular member of European branch organization European Plastic Windows /EPW/, Germany, Bulgarian Industrial Association and Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The Association conducts by its General Assembly, the Managing Board, the Controlling Board and the Chairman.

BDWA
is a non-profit organization that unites Bulgarian and foreign companies, specialized in producing, trading and importing of doors, windows, locking systems, casings, profiles, insulating glass, grommets and production machinery. The high professionalism and the good reputation of the members of the Association are a premise for achievement of the ambitious tasks and objectives which were the reasons for the incorporation of the organization.

BDWA protects the interests of the companies in the country, and maintains dialogue with the governmental institutions protecting the legal rights of its members, investigates and assists in solving cases, related to the legal, economical, financial, ecological, customs and other aspects of the trade activity.

The Association organizes seminars and conferences, which not only support the professional growth of the specialists in the guild but are also an excellent opportunity for establishing business contacts with similar international organizations and partners. We offer you cooperation in all common matters so we can improve the business climate and increase the quality of the offered services and products.


The main objectives of the Association:

  • To protect the general interests of the members and the companies, working in the sphere of the manufacture, trade and assembly of doors and windows;

  • Investigate the legal, technical, economical, financial, customs, environmental and other problems, related to the manufacture of doors and windows and to offer respective solutions to them, including suggesting legislative changes;


  • Assist the professional development of its members, their business relations and contacts with similar national and international organizations;


  • Promote the good image of its members in the country and abroad;


  • To maintain contacts and to cooperate with Public Institutions, responsible for the regulation of the manufacture, trade and assembly of doors and windows;


  • To protect the interests of the Association by representing it at different institutional level;


  • To establish relationships with educational institutions in the field of the activity of the members of the Association.
